Can't believe I just found out about your newsletter after training "with" you for the past 10 weeks for my half marathon on Sunday. Just found it and crying already thanks :D And though I'm not a senior I'll miss the "training for the half marathon" determined, strong, version of me.

Thank you for reading AND thank you for letting me be a part of your half marathon journey! And those seniors… just like you and me and everyone else are crossing finish lines in their lives. But every finish line is a starting line in disguise. And that “determined, strong” version of you is the one that’s beginning a new journey. That’s why I always get to end by saying I’ll see you on the next starting line. So, congratulations on the half and I’ll see you on the next starting line.

Great letter. Typo at the end. Says "Not get out" instead of "Now get out". That being said, sharing the newsletter far and wide.

I am a "senior" senior, and love your approach to life, and living in general. I hope you are able to "stay out there" and continue to be the powerful, positive influence to the new generation coming along the track, as you most certainly were to the young people you were writing to on your above post.

I have ten adult gr'children. I am hoping to pass on a few of these "gems" to them. Thankyou. Island Goose
